Location, location, location

Where exactly do you put a prairie? What an excellent question! After lots of walking and talking and looking and thinking . . . and more walking and staring and thinking . . . and walking and looking — well, you get the idea. We’ve selected two spots — the square and the bowling alley. The good news for us? This entire area was originally prairie, so native plants are always popping up to say hi. The trick is to figure out which are natives and which are immigrant invasives.
